  • Handbuilding Workshops (SCHEDULE TO BE ANNOUNCED)

    Learn basic handbuilding and decorating techniques to create a unique piece of art made by your own two hands! There are endless types of pieces we can make with handbuilding techniques–mugs, steins, bowls, plates, planters, ornaments, luminaries. Pieces are usually fired and ready for pickup within 2-3 weeks!
    Duration: 2-3 hours
    Cost: $80 - $100 + GST per person

  • Private Events

    Upon request, we can host private events for birthdays, corporate team building, date nights, and more! We can welcome groups of up to 10 participants.

    Cost: $80-$100 per person, minimum 8 participants

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer ongoing classes?

No, we don't offer ongoing classes. Instead, we focus on single-session workshops. Our workshops make it easy for anyone to get their hands dirty and create something meaningful in just one visit.

Do you teach wheel throwing?

We do not offer wheel throwing at Bao Bao Studio .We focus on hand-building rather than wheel throwing. Wheel throwing classes require a large amount of dedicated space and equipment—things our cozy Montgomery studio simply can’t accommodate without compromising the feel and function of the space.

What should I wear to the workshop?

Anything you feel comfortable in that you don't mind getting covered in clay or paint! If you have long hair, consider bringing a hair tie or clip. Aprons and hand towels are provided.

The workshop I want is sold out, what do I do?

Our workshops are capped at 10 people, allowing for more one on one instruction and advice. If the workshop you're interested in is full, send an email to jordan@baobaopottery.com and you'll be added to the waitlist.

How old do you have to be to participate in a workshop?

The minimum age for our workshops is 18 years old.
